Arcserve seeks a motivated individual to fill the position of EMEA Accountant for our European business. This role can be located in Ireland, Spain, or the United Kingdom.Duties will include: Quarterly and annual internal/external audit requestsMonthly closing entriesPrepare payroll including commission calculation (IE, PT, FR, UK, DE)EMEA revenue calculationsPost customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactionsPost Credit NotesResolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line, managing customer ledgersPay vendors, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memosCheck all submitted expenses adhere to the company expenses policyPay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advancesWork with external providers and internal tax consultant on annual tax complianceProcess incoming mail concerning billing and invoicingCommunicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questionsVAT Returns EMEAManage Office MailQualification and Educational Requirements: Qualified accountantProficiency in financial reporting systems (Navision beneficial)Proficiency in MS Office Suite requiredFluent EnglishExcellent communication skills - verbal and writtenExposure to US GAAP accounting preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
