THE OPPORTUNITY
A multi-disciplinary architectural firm, design build firm with architects and engineers, seeks an experienced OAA Architect, Architectural Designer or Architectural Job Captain to join their team. They do a wide variety of projects; prefer collaborative employees willing to work in their office. You must be solid in Revit and have varied project experience including community centers, schools, and government offices. Hybrid (WFH) work option will be available after 6 months for the right person.
WHAT THEY NEED Someone with a Master's or Bachelor's of Architecture; at least 8+ years post-graduate experience; strong preference for candidates with strong OBC and Revit skills accustomed to dealing with multiple AHJs; with 4+ years working for another established Ontario architectural firm.Candidate strong in both Revit & AutoCAD with a track record of leading a team of architects, interns & technologists across all stages of projects: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents & contract administration.Candidates with varied project experience; a portfolio of mid-sized projects including schools, corporate offices, low to mid rise residential, community centers, & industrial projects demonstrating attention to details including floor plans, section details, roof, slab on grade, air vapor barriers with good section details.Experienced juggling multiple projects; mentoring others, overseeing production drawings, being front facing with the client and focused on value-engineering.Software: Revit (3+ years on-the-job use), AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Photoshop; Microsoft PM or other PM software a big plus.Car with a valid G driver's license; willingness to commute to job sites as required and lives in the east GTA area.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Work with a great firm with decades of experience; repeat municipal and provincial clients that design great buildings.Join a team of accomplished professionals that care about their work and support one another.Solid benefits & HYBRID work option for candidates that integrate well into the team.Qualified candidates should apply directly with an updated resume and have a portfolio of projects and references.
