This person will work in supporting to introduce MPS motor solution in our potential customer, providing expertise knowledge and developing prototypes for specific applications. The engineer will collaborate with customers and design team to propose novel solutions to expand current MPS portfolio.Essential Functions:Evaluate existing MPS solution with different market's AC-DC voltage applicationsSimulate and test AC-DC circuits and converterDesign evaluation board with the Technician team, to deliver a fully testable solution to MPS's clients.Validate, test and document new products to be able to release the product.Support marketing and sales on the development of Proof-of-concept and EVB to show our solutions to new customersWrite technical articles, datasheets and application notes to support clients and MPS's sales teamSupport customers around Europe and US to introduce MPS solutionsQualifications:BS in related engineering field (MS preferred)Solid understanding and experience in power electronics and analog designExperience of modeling and control of power converterOral / written proficiency in English.Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsLocation: Barcelona, SpainMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
