We engage this talented group of employees with meaningful work, amazing technologies, world-class facilities, and a culture that respects diversity and rewards excellence.It's an atmosphere that fosters personal growth and allows you to propel your career to the next level.Role: APPLICATION ENGINEERResponsibilities:Interpreting customer specifications and providing technical advice to customers to assist in correct selection of BorgWarner products.Carrying out software modifications on the generic product to meet client requirements and validating the changes, following the BorgWarner software release processes.Assisting customers in vehicle fault-finding and providing guidance regarding vehicle CAN bus and EMC.Providing customer support both remotely from BorgWarner site in Lugo and on-site at vehicle OEM facilities throughout Europe (and also in Asia).Involvement with clients in the overall vehicle electrical design to ensure systems are safe, reliable, and optimized for BorgWarner controller performance.Using methods such as FMEA and/or Fault Tree Analysis to review system design with the client.Producing customer documentation such as product manuals and motor controller setup procedures.
