We are passionate and knowledgeable about the aviation industry, and we strive to make it safer, smarter, more sustainable and more inclusive.We celebrate diversity and inclusion in our workforce, and we respect and value the different backgrounds, perspectives and skills of our employees.We also care about our employees' wellbeing, and we provide flexible work arrangements, travel benefits, family-friendly policies, equal pay and a day off on your birthday.We believe in giving back to the community and encourage our staff to participate in volunteering activities that support causes they care about.We encourage you to join our global community of aviation enthusiasts, and we will do our best to make you feel comfortable during the interview process.IATA is more than a trade association; it is a vision of a better future for air travel.About the team you are joiningYou will report to the Senior Manager, Settlement Operations and will work closely with a highly diversified and inclusive team.What your day would be likePrepare and execute bank orders for collection and settlement of Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) and Cargo Accounts Settlement System (CASS) funds according to the scheduled calendars and in alignment with IATA financial policies; Perform matching activities, monitor bank statements and follow up on discrepancies as required, prepare and take action on exception reports; Prepare Hinge Account Reconciliations ensuring the accuracy of the report and the execution of the necessary actions to clear the open balances; Prepare external reporting for customers; Assist in the preparation of internal reporting for IATA management; Prepare and update Settlement Operations user guides including country specific requirements; Assist management in theapplication of standard and best practices throughout the operations; Coordinate with CustomerService department to attend to customer queries related to the operations; Any other tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager, Settlement Operations.We would love to hear from you if you have2-3 years of experience in treasury and/or finance related matters; Strong PC skills, particularly in MS Office Excel and Access; Fluency in spoken and written English; Knowledge of another language would be an advantage; Relevant Aviation Industry Experience (Airlines, Travel Agencies, etc.) is a plus; Customer focus, learningagility, planning and organizing, attention to detail, teamwork, cultural intelligence; good communication skills, proactive approach.Travel Required: NoLearn more about IATA's role in the industry, our benefits, and the team at.
