Itl-012 Finance Project Controller

Who You'll Work With: You will be based in our Madrid office, as part of our Iberia Finance team. You will report to the Finance manager Iberia and work directly with McKinsey partners and different colleagues at the firm.What You'll Do: You will support consulting teams open projects on McKinsey systems and control the financial KPIs of each client and project. In this role, you will also review the client contracts closely with the Legal department. You will be responsible for client projects management and review of any possible deviation vs what was forecasted. You will perform client invoicing and push/follow-up on collections.You will analyze clients' overall financial situation and prepare the reporting needed to present it to our consulting team(s). You will ensure compliance with firm policies, contracts, company procedures, and local tax requirements with a mentality of continuous improvement. You will anticipate possible economic risks for each client. You will be responsible for monthly closing and timesheets review. You will support financial audits, both external and internal. You will be in control of costs and correct accounting.Qualifications:Undergraduate or Master's degree3+ years of work experience in financial controllingAbility to work collaboratively in a teamCapability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team projectComfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situationsAbility to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysisAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language(s)#J-18808-Ljbffr
