Basic Information Department: Alibaba Group Degree: Bachelor Work Experience: 5 years Job Description We are seeking a Media Buyer Senior Specialist to plan and manage impactful multi-channel advertising campaigns that magnify AliExpress' brand value proposition in both Spain and Italy.
This role requires a fusion of media networking capability and analytical prowess, aimed at building brand awareness and trust media cost-efficiently.
Responsibilities: Analyze target demographics and develop media buying strategies that align with our brand positioning and marketing strategies.
Plan media campaigns.
Compare and negotiate rates, ad space, and airtime with media outlets, optimizing budgets to maximize ad exposure.
Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix.
Prepare schedules and adjust when needed.
Experiment with new platforms and channels and build long-term relationships with different media in both Spain and Italy.
Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately.
Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI).
Analyze performance data, competitor activities, and make reports.
Position Requirements At least 5 years of proven experience as a Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred.
Familiarity with media-buying, planning, and research.
Interest in following advertising and media trends.
Working knowledge of media analytics software (e.g., comScore).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail.
Critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Spanish, Italian, and English is a must; Chinese language skill is a plus but not a prerequisite.
BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
