What can you expect...
You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Airpower PMO and can expect to be involved in the following activities/placements:
Rotational Placement: Inside TAXD Digital Implementation
At Air Power digital implementation our mission is to deploy digital sustainable solutions developed by functions and digital to generate value for Air Power programs and our customers fostered by new ways of working. We define the business specific digital strategy and derive the required digital project/service portfolio to ensure digitalisation throughout the business line.
Air Power digital implementation runs a digital accelerator (more than 30 strategic projects) fostering new ways of working (Agile/scrum) and co-leads digital transformation projects such as ERP strategy.
During this first-year rotational placement, you will learn:
How to ensure our digital projects are not only implemented successfully but also meeting our business needs.
How to work in a very digital collaborative environment across different functions and business units.
Rotational Placement: Inside TAXS Services PMO:
At Airpower Services we provide support to after EIS support contracts for all Airpower platforms (MRTT, A400M, Eurofighter and more!) Airpower Services is a significant revenue share of the Business Line and PMOs have end-to-end visibility on the Services business. You will have the opportunity to deep dive into the Services business!
PMO standard methods and tools are Airbus Risk Management (ARM), Unified Planning (UP), Budget planning, Baseline Change Management and KPI reporting and you will learn all PMO skills as described in the PMBOK handbook.
At the end of the two-year development programme, you will have developed into the position in the Airpower Project Management Office!
What we are looking for...
To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, we ask that you demonstrate you have:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent within economics, IT, engineering or aerospace.
First professional experience or interest in the field of digitalisation and/or aerospace.
Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
