We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Project Controls Manager to join our established and growing team. We offer a competitive salary and hybrid working options.
Responsibilities
Manages and coordinates a range of PMO and project controls services to support designated projects within the PMO and planning centre of excellence. You'll be responsible for:
Directing and managing the application of specific project controls methods, techniques, and tools with a good working knowledge of a variety of techniques on a range of project and programme complexity.
Directing and managing a team of professionals delivering project controls services and responsible for staff development.
Evaluating trends and communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively in a complex project environment using numerical and statistical techniques as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Leading the application of specific project controls methods, techniques, and tools.
Advising on complex requirements and communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively.
Managing project controls delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.
Playing a key role in multidisciplinary teams and leading the creation of plans or analysis of trends using numerical and statistical techniques.
Persuading and influencing colleagues and clients to accept proposals and recommendations.
Delegating tasks and managing assistant managers & managers where required by the scale of the project.
Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to large audiences.
Spotting and developing talented individuals.
Qualifications
You'll need to have:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to be part of a high-performing team.
Attention to detail.
Experience of working on construction projects and/or consultancy.
Experience of delivering effective PMO and project controls/assurance frameworks/strategies.
