The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Career Development Center to aid the day-to-day running of all activities and events that aim to help IESE students in their job search.
The role has a dual function and reports to both the Operations Manager and a Sectorial Key Account Manager.
It includes both giving internal support to the CDC team, as well as supporting both companies and students from all over the world.
Main tasks:Provide administrative support to the whole Career Development Center, being responsible for all internal technical platforms, the department's mailbox, data reports, organization of events, liaison with other departments, purchasing orders, etc.Take ownership and coordinate activities online and on-campus ensuring everything runs smoothly.
For example: posting job opportunities, sending CV books, organizing interviews, internal workshops, Career Forums, corporate presentations, case competitions, student club conferences, surveys, and networking events.Coordination of activities includes scheduling, publishing in the student platform, logistics (room, technician, and F&B bookings), sending invitations, checking attendance, and post-delivery follow-up.Be the liaison between students, companies, and IESE by responding to inquiries and solving issues from companies, students, and visitors over the phone and in person.Coordinate inputs to our job platform: approving new companies, inserting new job postings, managing deadlines, generating CV books, providing feedback from companies, controlling student offers, and updating the system accordingly.Produce documents and/or presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Key competences required:Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and anticipating needs.Pro-active and flexible, able to act under pressure and ability to learn and adapt to new scenarios.
Working with two different managers.Cultural acceptance, awareness, and mutual respect is a must.
Role includes contact with companies and students from a variety of cultural backgrounds.Spirit of service and organizational skills are key competences for this role.Analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication.Other requirements:Strong computer skills.
Experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.Experience in an office environment working in a team preferably in a support function.Bilingual in English and Spanish is fundamental.
