We are a young, dynamic, multicultural team in rapid international growth, seeking for new partners to help us create the best and most forward-thinking travel company of our generation.Who we are?The Finance Team is the main responsible for managing the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping and reporting, including all payroll, accounts payable, and receivable.We are currently looking for a self-motivated, well-organized Accounts Receivable Specialist who can guide Exoticca in its fast-growing project through data, analysis, modeling, forecasting, identifying and proposing optimization and improvement actions to have efficiency growth.What will you do?Review incoming refund requests from customers or internal departments to verify accuracy and completeness.Analyze supporting documentation and transaction records to ensure refund eligibility and validity.Coordinate with relevant departments, including customer service and sales, to gather additional information or resolve discrepancies related to refund requests.Process approved refund requests in accordance with established procedures and timelines.Generate and issue refund payments via electronic transfer, or other approved methods.Maintain accurate records of refund transactions, including documentation of approvals, payment details, and communication with stakeholders.Monitor refund processing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements or efficiency enhancements.Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding refund status, processing timelines, and related matters.Prepare and report information related to refunds.Other ad-hoc tasks related to Accounts Receivable area.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting role.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English.Knowledge of Plan General Contable Español is a must.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Experience with Netsuite is a plus
