Being highly organized and analytical, the AP Specialist will review all accounts payable, and serve as the main contact for external vendors and internal department heads for all accounts payable processing, questions and issues. If you have 2 or more years' experience in Accounts Payable, and can thrive in a fast paced startup environment, we want to hear from you!
What you'll do: Review, enter and process all AP companywideServe as the main point of contact for all external vendors and internal department heads regarding accounts payable issuesResearch, resolve, and communicate any discrepancies on vendor accounts, through email or phoneManage and set up new vendors in the Bill.comEnter all AP in Bill.com, code to correct GL accounts and assign approvalsManage and maintain all 1099 records of applicable US vendors; prepare US annual report for Controller approvalEnter all corporate credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online, code to correct GL accounts, and collect and attach all corresponding receiptsReview employee expense reimbursements in accordance with reimbursement policyAssist with other projects as needed and assigned by the controllerThis role could be a good fit for you if: You have 2+ years of Accounts Payable experienceYou have previous experience with QuickBooks OnlineYou are highly proficient with Microsoft ExcelYou have working knowledge of GSuiteYou have excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou are analytical and have critical thinking and problem-solving skillsYou have the capacity to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environmentYou have previous experience working in a startup environmentYou have previous experience with Bill.com (preferred, not required)The perks: Remote First - our team works remotely across multiple countries and time zonesMedical, Dental, and Vision Coverage in the US - support for additional coverage is available in SpainCompany Team Offsites and Coworking - we believe that remote-first doesn't mean remote-onlyFree Product School Course Offerings - we offer a range of courses and certifications worth $15,000 that we readily encourage our employees to exploreMonthly Internet Reimbursement -we support our team, wherever they're working fromParental leaveWe require that candidates be located in the country/countries specified.
