**Responsibilities**:
- Record and process journal entries for all assigned companies.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with the review of expenses.
- Calculate and record monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Assist the finance department in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
- Support internal requests from other departments, as well as external auditors.
- Assist with other accounting tasks.
**Requirements**:
- Graduate degree in business administration, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- 1-2 years' of experience in a similar role. Experience in an investment management firm is a plus but not required.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Great attention to detail.
- Fluency in Spanish and English. Italian and French are a plus but not required.
