Reimagine What's Possible We are looking for an Accountant for the Netherlands based in Barcelona.
As an Accountant, you will: Be the right hand of the Senior Accounting.
This role provides a unique learning opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to work in a global company and have a visible impact on the organization.Assist the Senior Accountant with filing out financial statements.Support in the preparation of documents for the purpose of the audit (done by our auditor Deloitte).Work closely with other Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal and Business departments in the Netherlands, besides that you'll be in close contact with our head office in the US when needed.Support on reviewing major transactions (recorded correctly under the DAS requirements) and assisting with all the necessary legal adjustments.Be in contact with different stakeholders. Think of auditors, tax advisors, or business administrators.Preparation of monthly and yearly closing, reconciliations and analysis (for US GAAP and NL GAAP).Support for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis.You will have: You are good in the English language, both written and spoken.
Dutch language is mandatory.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and/or Financial control.Experience in the preparation of annual financial statements under DAS is desired.Experience in another GAAP would also be a plus (US GAAP, IFRS, Others..).High accuracy and attention to detail.Learning mindset and ambition to grow.Ability to work in a multi-cultural company, you enjoy working in a global company.Excellent Excel skills, experienced with large data sets.SAP knowledge would be an advantage.At Air Products, we work in an environment where we put safety first, diversity is essential, inclusion is our culture, and each person knows they belong and matter.
