Our client is a leading supplier to some of the worlds best known luxury brands . In this exciting new role, you will lead a team of 3-4 account managers for the European market. You will help the team develop their relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities and launch initiatives that will improve existing accounts. In the beginning, you will get hands on experience managing some of the larger accounts. Later on, your role will develop into being a strategic partner and guide for your team and the overall account strategy. You will identify new business opportunities and leverage internal resources to improve existing processes.
The Team lead/Senior Account Manager Europe is responsible for planning, directing, leading the team, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of the department. Smooth Supply chain and logistics are the key ingredients for ensuring customer satisfaction for our client, a background in these areas will therefore be very valuable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including new hire onboarding, career development planning, and creating opportunities
Develop client relationships with key operational people and support their need for operational excellence
Instruct team members on their roles and responsibilities, supervising them day-to-day
Manage and maintain the definitive agreements with clients; ensure that documents are complete and accurately define the agreements with suppliers and clients
For each client keep an up-to-date set of processes, contracts and pro forma P&Ls; analyze the profitability of new business and confirm existing business conforms to established profitability targets; provide regular updates on account profitability
Oversee the implementation of new accounts and the methods/procedures for those new accounts
Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organizations policies and procedures
Review performance data to monitor and measure productivity and goals
Plan and maintain staff levels; partnering with Human Resources to recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train high performing employees

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field
5+ years of experience in a related role
Proven experience in a managerial role
Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask/prioritize based on urgency
Manage/follow-up with all aspects of the account team and its assigned accounts
Strong decision-making capabilities
Ability to travel periodically, when necessary
Fluent in English
Fluent in French and/or Italian
