Senior Legal Counsel - Legal (Openbank) Country: Spain
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING We are the 100% digital bank of the Santander Group and we are currently undergoing a technological transformation and international expansion.

Mission and Responsibilities: Participate in the design, obtain the necessary internal and external approvals and monitor the commercial launch of new products and services.Give legal assistance and criteria related to the ordinary activity of the Bank, supporting different departments.Review and update of the operational and commercial processes of the Bank.Participate in digitalization and innovation projects.Participate actively in the implementation of regulatory projects.Maintain an updated awareness of regulatory and legal topics and industry trends relating to the legal environment.To be successful in the role you must have: Degree in Spanish Law.
Fully qualified lawyer in Spain.LLM in Banking Law (is a plus).Great judgment, proactive, innovative and customer obsessed.Be a team player and consensus builder, with great people skills who can efficiently collaborate with different areas of the organization.+10 years of experience in banking legal environment, with relevant experience from a law firm or in-house in a financial institution.Proven experience in banking and/or investment products, in particular in regulation related to contracting banking/investment products remotely and consumer protection laws.MS advanced level is required.Fluent in English (C1).What do we offer?
