Pay Range: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00

Summary of Position: We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our organization and be a part of a team. The Associate Corporate Counsel will be the first point of contact for our internal business partners in multiple locations across the country and will work with outside counsel retained on certain matters to execute on the business strategy desired by the executive team.
This position will also advise the executive team on relevant matters across the broad range of topics facing the company, including healthcare, compliance, contracts, employment, business insurance, risk management, real estate, and litigation.
Your Mission: Provide legal counsel to local business partners on key substantive areas affecting the company, including but not limited to compliance, FLSA, workers compensation, HIPAA, and contract negotiations.
Assist with compliance initiatives, including monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support the company's key business objectives.
Assist with legal and regulatory requests, including responses to subpoenas and other requests for information.
Draft, review, and negotiate customer-facing agreements including service agreements, master service agreements, term sheets, business associate agreements (BAAs), and confidentiality agreements.
Manage contracts from inception through renewal, amendment, and termination, while handling large contract volume.
Provide legal guidance to Human Resources on day-to-day employment issues and employment-related agreements.
Manage all pre-litigation collections efforts, including investigations and drafting of collection-related correspondence and legal documents.
Assist with litigation matters affecting the business units, including coordination with insurance brokers and outside counsel and additional responsibilities, as assigned.
Your Track Record: JD required and licensed to practice law in at least one state within the US.
At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in-house or as outside counsel, advising corporations in contracting and compliance matters.
Experience working directly for, or advising as outside counsel to, publicly or privately held companies.
Private equity experience preferred but not required.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including strong contract negotiation and drafting abilities.
Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who is team-oriented and eager to make an impact on the day-to-day operations of a growing organization. Must have the desire to be a generalist and must have contracts experience.
