We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. Ideally, you'll have worked in a fast-paced role within a fast-scaling company. You should have experience recruiting a variety of non-tech roles and thrive in an innovative environment, can roll up your sleeves to get the job done, but most importantly have fun. The best people will bring previous knowledge of recruitment and have a passion to continually learn and grow.
You will work closely with hiring managers across areas within Octopus Energy and also work super collaboratively with our Recruiters. We share ideas and look to continually evolve the way we do things to improve candidate experience and help hiring managers hire amazing people for Octopus. Maintaining an excellent candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment journey is key for us.
What you'll doPartner with hiring managers in Spain to understand their hiring needs and role requirements.Build great long-term relationships with candidates - from screening to offering candidates (that's the best bit!) to deliver a diverse range of candidates.Constantly provide an amazing candidate experience and look to always improve this across the team.Source, attract and recruit the best candidates.Interview candidates for Octopus, providing a different view and insight for hiring managers, which is really important to hire the best people for the role.Work closely with stakeholders in the UK and with our Head of Talent in London.What you'll needYou do need to know your stuff - this role is for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, so you'll need to know how to attract the best talent.You love to work with all kinds of people - it's not 'my team versus other teams', it's 'we're all working together to change the energy system globally, and I'll lend anyone a hand.'Be someone who not only finds answers but creates value by coming back and asking better questions.Focus on output, not input; what's important versus what's not important, and obsessively strive to make things better.Previous experience hiring in a fast-paced business.Experience screening and assessing candidates for both hard skills and cultural qualities.Fluent in Spanish and English at a business level, as 80% of the interviews are in Spanish.
