Your main responsibility will be applying the best practices to ensure that the organization's databases are operational, reliable, easily accessible, scalable, and secure.
You will research, design, and implement different technologies and processes to achieve that purpose.
You will make the data consistent by creating data backups and troubleshooting any issues that might appear.Evaluating new database technologies to offer better service.Administrating, configuring, and analyzing queries for improvements with Postgres or Oracle.Analyzing the challenge of loading and maintaining large datasets.Helping to optimize queries.Creating and managing data backups.Participating in on-call rotation shifts.Requirements+2 years of experience working as a Linux DBA with large amounts of data in the cloud or equivalent experience.Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Excellent skills as a DBA, including ETL (extract, transform, and load), backup and restore.Knowledge of relational OLTP (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, etc.
), OLAP (RedShift, Presto, Snowflake), or non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) database technologies.Relocating to Madrid offered.
