Job Description
In the role of DevOps OpenShift Engineer, you are primarily a medior OpenShift specialist. You will be involved in the establishment and further development of tools and solutions within the OpenShift landscape. You do this out of a drive to help our platform teams deploy tools and resources faster and more efficiently, while not losing sight of the fact that security plays a very prominent role.
You are part of a highly driven team that, in addition to building new functionality, is constantly looking to improve its own performance and that has the basic idea of automating things where possible.
With your knowledge of OpenShift, you are a driving force in the further knowledge development of yourself and the team. You see and understand the changes in management and you would like to play a major role in further automating work.
Tasks include: Develop OpenShift functionalities for automating management activities.Knowledge transfer within the DevOps team.Profile candidate
You are an engineer with a 'hands on' mentality who can work independently and in a team. You must have excellent communication and analytical skills. You have to be able to stay afloat in a hectic and changeable environment. You have experience with a (SAFe) Agile and DevOps method.
You are curious and continuously working to develop yourself further in your field.
You meet the requirements below:
HBO or University thinking level.5+ years in a similar role.Knowledge and experience of OpenShift/K8's.Knowledge and experience of Azure Cloud.Knowledge and experience of Terraform, GoLang, and Ansible is required.Analytical thinking skills.The Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers exam (EX188), AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, or AZ-104 is an advantage.Coaching skills for the medior, junior colleagues and be a lead.High English level.
