We are seeking the position of Assistant Director of Finance with excellent financial administrative and analytical skills to join our team.
The position is expected to review and compile financial reports and be familiar with government regulations.
To ensure success, the Assistant Director of Finance must be very detail-oriented and a strong problem solver.
They must also have strong mathematical and report writing skills.
A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Assume responsibility for the planning and execution of a company's financial tasks and projects.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports and business budgets to ensure financial stability.Assist in drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports required by regulatory authorities.Estimating short and long term financial objectives by setting performance goals.Preparing financial reports and overseeing month-end processes.Drafting and assisting in procurement processes.Preparing Balance Sheet account reconciliation.Responsible for accurate accounting and BS review in conjunction with Financial Management.Support to the different areas of the finance team.Provide training to staff members on financial processes.Ad-hoc tasks.Coverage of tasks pertaining to: Accounts payable / Revenue audit tasks / AR tasks, when required.What We need from you:
A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or similar.5 years of experience in a financial position (General Accountant or similar).A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially legal obligations and requirements.Good analytical skills with strong problem solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Good communication and report writing skills.Experience using accounting software (SunSystems highly desirable).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Social skills and ability to lead and build team.Hotel work experience is a must.High level of English (demonstrable.
