.About this roleThis is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual to be part of the product operations team for Gartner Peer Insights (GPI). GPI's mission is to transform the way enterprise software & services are bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings. We are looking for a Manager, Product Operations, to lead efforts on GPI market operations. You will work directly with senior stakeholders and be the natural extension of operations horsepower. You will also have the opportunity to work on several business initiatives and be empowered to lead problem solving leading to continuous improvement. If you have strong business acumen, ability to work with cross-functional teams and enjoy working in a fast-paced lean startup team at an established brand, this is the role for you.What you will doAs a manager, you own end-to-end delivery of multiple business process related work streams:Drive business initiatives and work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.Able to translate operational and "big picture" understanding effectively and efficiently into metrics-driven thinking.Thoughtful communication skills to tailor messaging to all levels of the organization.Lead problem solving meetings within the team to improve processes through analytic approaches.Own projects, understand & scope project requirements and map out delivery plans.Develop processes to support the growing category and vendor base and demonstrate measurable business impact of those efforts.Apply lean product principles in your day-to-day problem solving and lead knowledge sharing sessions.Assess workload across the team and help the team members to manage, prioritize, and optimize workload.Manage operational issues/escalations in a timely and efficient manner.Manage team members and help them on a day-to-day basis to deliver high quality deliverables.Here is a sample of some initiatives you would work on:Identify and innovate improvements in business (or functional) processes to increase productivity per associate.Partner cross-functionally (e.G., Product Management, Research & Advisory, Legal, etc.) to drive innovations, process improvements, increase traffic, etc.Drive and lead analyses/dashboarding for uncovering key trends/patterns and enabling for monthly ops review.What you'll needBachelor's degree required, Master's/MBA degree preferred. Overall, 6-8 years of relevant experience in strategy, planning, and product operations, with a passion for continuous, metrics-based processes and operational improvement. Proven experience of handling teams (5-7 team members) and ability to identify gaps/provide relevant training to team members. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization. Project management experience & capability to give independent opinions based on facts. Strong Microsoft Office expertise – Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
