Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent.
Minimum 7+ years of finance experience, or master's degree and 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of direct management experience.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead team members to develop customized spend models and reporting dashboards at the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) category level.
Evaluate key commercial terms and conditions of supplier agreements to ensure compliance with Amazon's spend and transaction policy and standards.
Support Category business partners during the Request for Price (RFP) process by gathering financial information, RFP evaluation, and the recommendation of vendor selection.
Leverage spend models to deep dive on supplier spend and industry growth trends to improve Amazon's cost structure or deliver incremental value.
Build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models that consider Return on Investment (ROI) for each sourcing opportunity.
Leverage spend profiles and developed models to drive cost savings opportunities.
Monitor and report on achieved cost savings compared to budgeted plan.

About the Team:
The Global Procurement Finance team is the business partner for the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) and focuses on continuously improving the scalability and efficiency of the procurement organization. GPO is responsible for the source to pay process for non-inventory goods and services needed to facilitate Amazon's supply chain. This team delivers analysis to impact the pricing framework for future contract negotiations and the Request for Price (RFP) solicitation process for these GPO categories: Construction, Equipment, Packaging, Services, IT, and Supplies. The finance team is engaged throughout each stage of the procurement life-cycle. This team is responsible for performing analysis on supplier spend and spend models in partnership with category teams to create category playbooks and strategy documents. This team serves as a key strategic partner to GPO category teams, accounting, and other business unit finance partners to deliver on strategic category initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Manufacturing/Distribution/Fulfillment Center processes and systems a plus.
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e., SQL, Tableau, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems (i.e., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate).
