Location: US or Europe Division Specific Information Our Materials and Structural Analysis business helps customers drive groundbreaking research and discoveries by delivering innovative microscopy, spectroscopy, and microanalysis solutions, such as world-class scanning and transmission electron microscopes, DualBeam FIB-SEMs, and spectrometers, combined with advanced software suites. We span across the business areas of spectroscopy, visualization software, semiconductor, life sciences, and material sciences, as well as global support functions like commercial sales, service, operations, research and development, advanced technologies, and marketing. How will you make an impact? As a Sr. Sales Development Manager, you will support the growth of the Life Sciences Electron Microscopy business within the Materials and Structural Analysis Division, by driving market shares through lead generation and pipeline building. Intellectual curiosity and passion will provide the opportunity to grow, both regionally and globally, as well as across the Thermo Fisher organization. What you will do: Collaborate with the Pharma and Biotech Business development directors and set up practical methods to roll out pipeline growth campaigns that support the strategic plan. Coordinate Worldwide Sales development efforts by working together with the Regional Sales development teams and Sales Account teams. Setup and coordinate global cross-functional Pharma account teams, including reporting out on progress and keeping track of key parameters. Collect, document and measure processes as established by the Regional Sales development teams. Collaborate with the commercial excellence teams to build the best toolsets to support the regional Sales development teams. Analyze and propose new Sales development methods used by peers inside and outside the Company. Perform monthly pipeline reviews and report out to the management team. Drive specific campaign rollouts with the Global Sales Force. Timely feedback product marketing management about market trends and changes in the competitive landscape. Work closely with the sales organization to capture business by providing compelling sales strategies & value propositions, especially with high value and complex deals
