The purpose of this position is to provide Process Technology engineering and Project engineering support for small and medium projects in Tarragona Chemical Site:
Consolidation of Basic Engineering projects
Assist in preparation of Process Design Basis and Process Criteria
Understand client objectives and goals; implement these objectives and goals in all aspects of work on the project
Perform process studies for more complex systems
Develop Heat and Material Balance (H&MB;) for process units
Design Pressure Safety Devices
Perform equipment sizing and calculations; initiate equipment data sheets; provide input to equipment lists
Prepare Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;) for more complex systems; perform consistency checks; interface with other disciplines
Check calculations of others; perform calculations for complex systems
Participate in bid tab evaluations for simple equipment; check vendor data for complex equipment
Participate in plot plan review and Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) reviews in regard to plant safety/operability
Contact and consult with other engineering
Project engineer experience will be highly valued

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications Degree / Master in Chemical Engineering.
