Building on the success of MC2 rollout to the local markets, the role will identify opportunities to implement and develop a growing MC2 product suite in collaboration with the commercial teams in the local markets. Establishing a rapport with these teams by knowledge of their business challenges, the role identifies and drives commercial value ahead of Nucleus implementations. This will need to be completed whilst mindful of the changes and priorities local markets will be facing. Interactions with local commercial teams will need to establish a basis of relevance and offering cross pollination of common products, paving the way for later convergence to the Nucleus information architecture.
The role will work very closely with the Data & Analytics Products team, with the strategic engagement manager who will drive e2e cloud migration, and local market D&A teams. The manager will translate local commercial analytical needs and value drivers to common product features and leverage the SAFe ways of working. Where markets are already fully on Nucleus for the data area of choice, peers in the team will support mobilisation and delivery. In markets where this is not the case, the role will become the engagement manager during the implementation journey. The role demands strong interpersonal skills to engender collaboration across multiple geographies. The challenges in the role will require someone with high resilience accompanied by sufficient credibility and presence to work with and influence at executive/SLT level.
As a Manager Data Analytics, you´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities: Translates commercial drivers in local markets to product features and drives the strategic input to MC2 and Nucleus products. Bridges Local market and Group Commercial interests. Clarifies and agrees value of product implementations to local and Group commercial teams. Manages expectations of local commercial and local D&A teams, through incremental product life cycle and delivery cycles. Supports escalations across local and group commercial teams where needed to agree priorities, budgets, timelines and scope. What do you bring? Experienced in managing complex global BI/billing systems/data warehouse projects, ideally with shared service center integration. 5 years+ telecoms field experience. At least 2 complex multi-cultural project implementations covering Europe and Asia. Exposure to BI implementation programs; at ease with the reporting and analytics IT architecture and IT delivery frameworks needed for BI projects. Proven project management experience in projects > 1yr each. Proven skills experience in scoping (gap analysis), planning (phasing, project releases), project budgeting (capex, opex, SI management), resource management (contractors, staff, SI resources) and people management skills of teams.
