Job Summary: Amazon is looking for a highly talented Senior Product Manager to lead cross-category, cross-country initiatives in Italy and Spain.
Focus will be on enabling Amazon's logistics network to handle large and heavy products (sofas, large TVs, major appliances, bikes, BBQs, etc.).
This Senior Product Manager will own the H/B workstream in IT&ES; end to end and will influence and deliver through many internal teams such as: IT and ES category leaders and directors, EU Amazon Logistics, WW Tech teams, Local IT&ES; CS, Operations, DEX andTransportation, and EU H/B team.
Core Responsibilities: Define what best-in-class CX and DEX looks like for large and heavy items in IT&ES; and work with AMXL, DEX, Local Trans and Tech to implement it within the expected deadlines.
Build a profitable business by: (i) working with central operations teams to reduce network costs, and (ii) influencing category teams to improve procurement margins.
Grow the business by: (i) working with business Category Leaders to identify product catalog opportunities, and (ii) central PM/ISM teams to develop pricing and instock strategies.
Keep key stakeholders informed and aligned including full ownership over country QBRs with IT&ES; country manager and directors.
Support and Influence EU H/B PMs and Sponsors relentlessly working towards creating the best possible experience for our customers.
You will demonstrate a strong bias for action in getting things done in internet time, whilst maintaining an analytical and process-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making.
As a Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for knowledge sharing and influencing of retail teams across IT, ES, and EU.
The role is very broad-based and will require an individual who is motivated to make a big impact and excited to be part of a cross-category effort.
Minimum Requirements: - 7+ years professional experience in product management, process improvement or management consulting.- Strong project management skills and ability to deliver through others.- Strong analytical skills (including Excel proficiency and SQL), a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details while also seeing and understanding the big picture.- Demonstrated ability to drive insight and recommendations from data mining and analysis.- Fluent in English.- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence.- Experience in start-up type environments or short-cycle businesses.- Experience working with remote teams.- Proficiency in English and working knowledge of additional languages (Italian and/or Spanish) is a plus.- Experience in SQL is a plus.
Location: The role could be based in Madrid or Milan.
