Company DescriptionResponsible for carrying out:Vehicle dynamics advanced simulation activities to support attributes development programs.Tyre virtual model generation and integration in the virtual chassis.ResponsibilitiesPerform complete vehicle and suspension simulations to provide direction to the chassis development programs, while minimizing the need for physical testing. The main responsibilities of this role will be:Build chassis and complete vehicle modelsPerform virtual simulations to evaluate suspension kinematics & compliance and complete vehicle handling & ride comfortOptimise chassis parameters in order to meet performance targetsDefine the tyre testing program for tyre modelling purposesGenerate parametric and physical tyre modelsSupport the virtual implementation of the physical tyre models in the full vehicle simulation (either in computer simulation or in driving simulators)Prepare/write project reportsPresentation of project results and support decision makingTo support project management and commercial actions:Presentation of project proposals and project results to customersManagement of client communication and reportingQualificationsB.S. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent1-3 years of experience in automotive chassis development with a focus on Vehicle DynamicsKnowledge of vehicle dynamics theory and contributions from individual components—hardpoints, steering, springs, bars, dampers, tires, bushings, etc.—to suspension K&C; and full-vehicle performanceBasic understanding of the performance development process, from target setting and target cascading to validation and sign-offVehicle dynamics simulation experience with multi-body (ADAMS) and/or lookup tables-based models (VI-CarRealTime, IPG CarMaker, CarSim, etc)Data post-processing skillsBasic knowledge of programming with Matlab and/or PythonPersonal QualificationsDetail-oriented and organised personalityGreat communication and team-working skillsHard-working and flexible mindsetProficient in spoken and written EnglishPreferred Additional InformationWhat do we offer?Hybrid home/office working (selected roles)Flexible working hours (when applicable)Competitive salary package and annual performance-related bonusReferral programmeTraining and career path opportunitiesLanguage courses availableInternational mobility opportunitiesInterested?#J-18808-Ljbffr
