We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of and in support of our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:Attend welding activities, non-destructive tests, dimensional and visual examinations, leak tests, and other manufacturing activities;Verify and enforce compliance with approved procedures;Support in the reporting of non-compliances;Support in the review of test reports;Support in ensuring that reports are issued on time and follow the required review processes;Assist in the review of end of manufacturing reports;Support in the performance of documentation management activities;Support in the review and follow-up of quality-related documentation;Monitor manufacturer's progress in relation to the corresponding schedule, providing early warning in case of deficiencies or slippage;Provide inputs to update the internal working schedules;Assist in the review of end of manufacturing reports;Support in the technical review of manufacturing procedures.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in, e.g., industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or nuclear engineering;At least 8 years of relevant work experience;Experience in the follow-up of the manufacturing of mechanical components under a Quality Management System, involving some of the following activities: welding, non-destructive testing, and dimensional inspection;Experience in the use of codes and standards used for the design and manufacturing of mechanical components (ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, etc.);Knowledge of specifying process equipment, pressure vessels, big exchangers, etc.;Knowledge of working with the associated equipment data sheets (from a list of equipment from a PID);Experience in the organisation of the production for the manufacturing of mechanical components involving some of the activities listed above;Experience in the definition and/or qualification of joining techniques for mechanical components;Experience in the design, manufacturing, and/or testing of engineering systems to be used under vacuum and/or for cryogenic applications;Experience in non-destructive testing (RT, PT, VT, UT, etc.).
