We are currently seeking a Service Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Madrid, Spain!What can you expect from this role? The Service Quality Engineer plays a vital role in Vertiv's service sector, overseeing 3rd party service engineers to enhance quality performance. They ensure deployment of Customer Quality, Quality Management Systems, and Product Compliance Systems within service and manufacturing plants. Additionally, they conduct continuous quality audits on service delivery personnel and local suppliers to enhance customer experience and maintain quality standards. For this role, travel within the EMEA region, not exceeding 50% of the time, is required to maintain close connections with subcontractors.What your responsibilities would be?Provide support and accountability for planning, controlling, and improving quality and reliability for all Services within the region.Responsible for implementing Systems, Processes, Policies, and Procedures which will ensure an effective quality system that complies with Customer requirements, selected International and Industry Standards.Perform Internal audits within respective areas and report its progress.Train and audit quality policies, standards, and procedures for respective manufacturing and service locations, sub-contracting (3rd party), and service activities.Collaborate on improvement initiatives leading to high quality level products.Work with business leads to drive corrective actions for Service and Manufacturing related issues.Help and drive Continuous Quality Improvement of processes within respective areas.Support the QMS Manager for the implementation/deployment and sustainment of Quality System.Maintain documents of the Quality Management System.Participate in the Quality Management System reviews.Coordinate Customer audits and its improvement actions.Support local Supply Chain by providing strategic quality support and expertise for supplier quality.Manage supplier claims processes within market unit in cooperation with local Supply Chain.In cooperation with Service Quality Organization, implement and maintain common supplier quality documentation with local key suppliers.Provide monthly reporting for relevant Quality KPIs.What do we need from you?Preferred Engineering roles for at least 5 years.Fluent in English and desirable a second language.Certified internal.Strong leadership skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Well-developed interpersonal skills.Active knowledge of quality systems, tools, and standards desired.Knowledge of Lean management.Intermediate to Advanced in MS Excel.Smartsheet user. Excellent problem solver; experience with 8D methodology and supporting tools.
