The Warehouse Automation product portfolio consists of Storfast deep lane, ultra high density Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS / RS).The Company offers integrated automation solutions for greenfield sites or scalable solutions that are optimized for existing facilities, thus eliminating the need for the construction of new buildings.The combination of warehouse automation solutions with the integrated packaging solutions offered by other SIG companies gives the company a unique value proposition.The Storfast system is a world-class, industry-leading technology developed in response to the market's demands for a more modern flexible solution compared to the rigid and heavy traditional warehouse automation solutions available.The Storfast solution offers numerous advantages in initial cost, performance, space, running costs, safety and maintenance compared to other solutions.The role encompasses the development and commissioning of the automation solutions portfolio of Signode Packaging Spain.You will be responsible for the following tasks:You install and modify software for PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley).You integrate and set up automation components: Motors, VFDs, encoders, etc.You assist the workshop to set up the machines before delivery to sites.You assist the Site Manager and Project Manager on site to check and test the installation before commissioning.You will assist in commissioning on site the system.You keep a strong focus on the final product quality.Minimum Requirements:Senior electromechanical technician or similar education in Mechatronics.Proficient in English.Travel availability is essential.Understanding of PLC architectural style.Good understanding of electrical diagrams.Good understanding in automation technologies: motors, sensors, VFDs, etc.Preferable experience in industrial automation.
