Mott MacDonald's energy environment and social team is at the vanguard of delivering environmental services for energy projects. We're looking for an international social performance consultant to join our team in Madrid.
The focus of the role will be on environmental assessment for energy projects, particularly in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. We work on some of the most significant generation projects in the world, including solar, hydro, wind, and thermal generation technologies. This is a permanent role and will offer excellent prospects for career development involving different power generation technologies, with focus on energy projects from development and construction to operations.
Key elements of the role will include:Social and human rights impact assessment and managementSocial due diligence, equator principle compliance reviews and construction monitoringResettlement and indigenous peoples' development planningPublic consultation, disclosure and stakeholder engagement planningLabour rights management planning and auditingGender analysis and management planningInternational travelYou'd be part of a truly multidisciplinary team; working alongside some of the best environmental specialists, social specialists and engineers in the industry.
Essential criteria:Fluent in English and French
