- What you will be doing JOB SUMMARY: World Courier is recruiting for the position of Customer Service Representative to be based from our Barcelona office.
- Attend all the requirements coming from customers (existing and potential) during working hours; - Monitor shipments from origin to end and keep customers informed at all times; - All tasks are completed in a correct, timely and cost-efficient manner; - Provide real-time information to customers and act as a link between Sales & Ops department.
Primary Responsibilities: Handling enquiries, shipment bookings, and client reports.
Development and intensification of customer contacts.
Responsibility for Order-Management.
Planning and execution of shipment orders and keeping customers updated during the whole process.
Preparation and execution of written offers from customers.
Communication with international World Courier offices and working in partnership with Sales and Operations departments.
Working with multiple internal IT systems.
What your background should look like: Previous customer service experience, preferably in an international B2B environment.
Experience or knowledge of the international logistics sector, particularly air freight, preferred.
Previous experience working with pharmaceutical or other time-critical shipments would be advantageous.
Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
Fluent in Catalan would be beneficial.
Excellent IT skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and quick learner.
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Ability to represent a positive and professional image.
