YOUR TASKS: Support Nordex service in fleet assessments for drivetrain components.
Analysis of the operation performance of the drivetrain systems.
Investigation, development and implementation of potential improvements for the reliability of the drivetrain system in coordination with System Leads and Component Responsible.
Development of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) in coordination with other Engineering Departments and Service Department.
Techno-commercial evaluation of improvement measures.
Managing technical projects related to reliability, quality or costs.
Support to DFMEA development and quality assurance.
YOUR PROFILE: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable university degree.
5+ years experience in the wind industry, preferred in mechanical drivetrain technology.
Knowledge in quality assurance methodologies preferred.
Knowledge in roller bearing, gears, shafts and other drivetrain components required.
Knowledge of applicable standards (IEC 61400-4; ISO 6336; ISO 281) required.
Basic knowledge of journal bearing technology preferred.
Good communication skills and comfortable to work in multi-national, multi-cultural teams.
Ability to manage projects and to work as a team with good analytical skills and the flexibility and dynamism in the execution of tasks.
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
Very good English, written and spoken.
