Your Tasks & Responsibilities
You will cover the analysis of complex structured finance transactions. Your role will be to lead the analysis or provide support across all stages of Scope Ratings' analytical processes, including:
Assigning new ratings, and monitoring existing ratings, on structured finance instruments across a broad span of asset classes, including auto ABS, consumer ABS, SME ABS, CMBS, RMBS, NPLs, CLOs, etc.Performing asset, counterparty, and structural credit analysis, as well as cash flow modeling and documentation review.Taking part in analytical operational reviews and site visits and maintaining relationships with market participants.Preparing, presenting and discussing all relevant analysis in front of Scope's rating committees.Developing Scope's analytical capabilities and rating methodologies.Producing high-quality, insightful research. Monitoring market developments in European structured finance and publishing timely and relevant market commentary.Your Profile
- Strong analytical skills: qualitative and/or quantitative, with a solid understanding of the financial markets and credit fundamentals.
- High commitment to build and develop the largest European credit rating agency.
- Opinionated and independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; other European language skills a plus.
- Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive, and detail-oriented personality.
- Accountable and dynamic with the ability to work in full autonomy.
- CFA, CAIA, RFM, RICS, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Strong MS Office computer skills and comfortable working with complex and disparate datasets; knowledge of Python, Power BI, and Tableau is a plus.
- Professional experience analyzing, structuring, or investing in securitization or credit derivatives transactions (except for entry-level positions) is a plus.
