MISSION: Design, development and certification of wind towers and foundations, with strong technical background in design and calculation of concrete structures, but also steel sections and connections for Hybrid Towers. Linear and non-linear calculation of the structures with detailed FEM. The engineer will participate in the product development of the tower and foundation structures for wind turbines and any auxiliary means for their assembly. He/she will participate in technological vigilance identifying breakthrough technologies, developing new solutions and incorporating new technologies and systems. Besides,
he/she will participate in the patent generation and product certification to keep competitive advantage in Eolic sector.
TASKS:
Product development of wind turbines made of composite steel and concrete towers and foundations, with knowledge and experience designing and calculating with both materials, but deep insight on concrete part.
Analytical and numerical dimensioning of Concrete towers and its components, as well as tubular steel sections (transition piece).
Advanced analysis of concrete sections and connections: fatigue, buckling, flange connections, non-linear, materials, etc.
Creation of certifiable calculation reports according to IEC and DIBT standards including alignments with certification bodies and local government authorities.
Creation of specifications.
Support to manufacturing and assembly issues related with concrete and hybrid towers.
Advanced Non-linear FE models for concrete/steel and connections/joints including dent and transport analysis.
Structural design and calculation to optimize product performance LCOE.
Technological vigilance to identify breakthrough technologies.
Modularization, customization and industrialization of developed products.
Programming applications and software tools for design of towers and foundations.
Patent generation ensuring the intellectual property of the company.
Certification of products and interlocution with official certification bodies.
Knowledge and experience in structural concrete.
YOUR PROFILE:
Qualification: Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial) or similar.
Complementary Training: Linear and Non-Linear (ANSYS, Abacus, SAP), Programming (C++, Python), Structures, Standards, Product development, Patent and intellectual property, technological vigilance, construction dynamics (preferred), knowledge of relevant Standards (IEC/DIBT).
Profile: Proactive, autonomous and challenge-motivated. Good coordination skills and used to work in international environments. High English compulsory.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
