Job DescriptionEducation and Qualifications:Required: Laboratory technicianDesired: Fluent in English language (B2 or equivalent)Experience and Knowledge:Required: Experience in animal experimentation (mainly mouse handling).Experience in retinal diseases.Experience in molecular biology techniques (histology, WB, immunofluorescence).Main Responsibilities and Duties:The laboratory technician will provide support for the following tasks:
Attending to the animals by ensuring their care and welfare.Treatment (eye drops/twice a day) administration.Processing and conservation of the retinas and optic nerve.Helping in laboratory tasks (i.e., PCR, immunohistochemistry, and western blot analyses).Support in lab organization (perform orders, reagent preparation).Labour Conditions:Full-time position: 40 h/week.Starting date: immediately.Gross annual salary: 21,000 € (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
