.The PositionRole PurposeAs a strategic Program Manager Architecture & Software Engineering (ASE), you are a servant leader to Roche Diagnostics. You are responsible for driving customer and business value through planning, launching, and executing a strategic program in a complex, iterative environment.You will lead the Reference Architecture Adoption Program within the Architecture & Software Engineering Function. Herein, you are responsible for supporting and driving the definition & adoption of the Reference Architecture.The Reference Architecture provides a standard set of recommended services, integrations, and overview of data flows between the different architectural components that are part of the solution.It consists of Architecture Building Blocks that are grouped by layers and include more granular building blocks underneath.You will design, maintain, and provide an effective and efficient structure, governance, and leadership for the program. You will have a key role for the definition and adoption squads within the program in a manner that is consistent with the Roche values and leadership commitments.Reporting to the Software Program Management Office (PMO) Lead in Roche Information Solutions, you will primarily partner with the rest of Engineering, Roche Diagnostics Solutions, Roche Integrated Informatics, and other functions within RIS and Diagnostics to deliver the Diagnostics Reference Architecture.In this role and as a servant leader, you will:Lead the Reference Architecture Adoption program with high complexity and a subset of cross-functional projects/squads/initiatives.Drive governance, collaboration, and transparency across the program.Use, maintain, and establish the necessary program management tools to achieve transparency and use these also for stakeholder engagement purposes, such as:Program CharterStrategic Program RoadmapStrategic resources & capacity plan including roles and responsibilities, skills, and capabilities in the programProgram BacklogBudget Plan & Spend MonitoringSupport the staffing of projects, squads, initiatives, or teams within the program.Act as a trustful, reliable, and compliant partner to key stakeholders of the program, such as:Squad/project/team leaders in the programFinance/ControllingProcurement (global & local)Define and implement metrics and key performance indicators to increase transparency and to measure progress and success (Adoption savings dashboard); implement mitigations for under-performing metrics.Identify, monitor, and mitigate key risks; involve required stakeholders in a timely manner to help mitigation.Support the culture of agile ways of working and continuous improvement by identifying, proposing, and implementing improvement opportunities.Who you are:Degree and experience in a related discipline (Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Engineering, etc.), MSIS, MIS, or MBA preferred
