**Description**:Location: BarcelonaStart date: ASAP**What about us?**Dragons Group is an independent creative agency specialised in the digital world with HQs in Barcelona and teams working from the US, UK, Madrid, Germany and Portugal.We bridge the real world with the digital world through creative solutions.We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with very good knowledge of the Spanish taxing system and who will play a key role in maintaining financial compliance and integrity within our organization.**Responsibilities**Spanish Tax Compliance- Stay current with Spanish tax laws and regulations,ensuring accurate and timely filing of VAT returns.- Conduct regular reviews to identify potential areas for tax optimization and efficiency.VAT Procedures- Manage end-to-end VAT processes, including the preparation and submission of VAT returns.- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations on invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions.Receipt Management- Oversee the organization, verification, and recording of financial transactions, receipts, and invoices.- Maintain an efficient system for tracking and reconciling receipts with financial records.Financial Reporting- Prepare financial reports related to VAT, providing insights and analysis as needed.- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate financial statements in compliance with Spanish accounting standards.Procurement Support- Provide financial expertise in procurement processes, ensuring compliance with fiscal regulations.- Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate the financial aspects of supplier contracts and agreements.Audit Support- Assist in internal and external audits,providing necessary documentation and explanations related to taxation and procurement.- Implement corrective actions based on audit recommendations.Documentation and Record Keeping- Maintain organized and detailed records of financial transactions, ensuring accessibility for audits and reporting purposes.- Implement best practices for efficient documentation and record management.**Requirements**:**Requirements**:- Proven experience as an Accountant with expertise in the Spanish taxing system, particularly in VAT procedures.- In-depth knowledge of Spanish tax laws and regulations, with a focus on compliance and optimization.- Familiarity with procurement processes and the ability to integrate financial considerations into procurement decisions.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.- Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Finance, or a related field.
