What we're looking for
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a talented Associate UX Designer. Our ideal candidate is an innovative designer who is data-driven, yet empathetic. You'll use your own expertise, along with data and insights from users and broader market analysis, to turn the design direction for our organization into actual products and experiences. This is a hands-on role focused on contributing to the processes of product discovery, design, and development. You will work with seasoned UX designers and collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and developers to create quality, device-agnostic user experiences and interfaces.
Why you'll want to come to work
Your main responsibility will be to execute visual design stages from conception to final hand-off to Frontend Engineering, maintaining our style and consistency. Plan and execute research, from heatmaps to user testing, to inform your design decisions. Understand and use analytics data to report insights and improve user experience metrics. Create a variety of deliverables from user journeys and personas to flows, wireframes, mockups, and test-ready prototypes. Track, measure, and understand impact, to iterate on current experiences and envision opportunities for new ones.
What you'll bring to the team
- 1+ years' experience as a UX/UI designer or similar role.
- You must be able to showcase and speak to your portfolio, and how your work qualifies you for this role.
- Deep understanding of the design process – especially related to digital products – and the ability to work at all levels of the UX process.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Experience facilitating design thinking workshops with stakeholders.
- Experience with user testing and interviews.
