The Research Business Development Manager Europe is an exciting new and entrepreneurial position within Beckman Coulter Dx. The mission of the Research Business Development Manager Europe (RBDM) is to create institutional demand for Beckman Coulter's Research Use assays for neurodegenerative diseases and companion instruments that can assist in discovery of new and novel therapeutics to address diseases like Alzheimer's Disease. The RBDM will establish and position Beckman Coulter's Research Use Only (RUO) assays that best align with research and core labs for drug and therapeutics discovery.The RBDM will work to achieve this mission by engaging with principal investigators (PIs), Core Directors, and Reference Lab Directors at top research and academic institutions to align Beckman Coulter research solutions with institutional research strategy, goals, and KPIs.The RBDM will engage with each of these stakeholders at a deep level to fully appreciate their contribution to neurodegenerative research and identify our assays as a means of successfully executing that strategy. This position is part of the European organization and will be based remotely in the UK or Spain with approximately 75% travel throughout Europe; therefore, it is important to be located close to an international airport.
