Santa Cruz de Tenerife / Remote: Junior Web Crawling/Scraping EngineerWe are looking for a proactive, committed, and communicative Junior Web Crawling/Scraping Engineer. The successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:Maintaining and improving automation and infrastructure of the price-monitoring system.Providing technical support.Maintaining and optimizing current infrastructure, including database management.Working as a team member. We work with agile scrum methodology. As a SCRUM member, you will contribute to and be responsible for overall team success.Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, reusable, and reliable code.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or similar) in Computer Science or computing.Technical skills:Knowledge and/or experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.SQL - Familiarity with database management.Regular expressions.C#, .Net.Required Skills:Proactivity.Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and maintain code and infrastructure.Problem-solving capacity - creation of workflows, architectural design, algorithms, data structures, etc.Good written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Desirable Skills:Experience working with web scraping tools would be highly valued.
