.Position Overview - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients and partners.- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, generating reports on market trends, performance of one's market, and forecasting.- Analyze data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency, presenting findings and recommendations to management.- Collaborate with marketing teams to create innovative promotional strategies.- Carry out proactive sales actions on a weekly basis to achieve department goals.- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.- Travel to trade shows, fairs, and sales calls to bring in business.- Respond promptly to incoming inquiries, respecting the 24-hour response time as part of the luxury standard.- Qualify incoming requests to obtain guests' needs.- Prepare proposals/quotations adjusting the offer to the client's needs and department objectives (price, availability, and needs) to maximize revenue.- Monitor the evolution of the status of the group, considering the offers of the competition and destinations, and adjust if necessary.- Carry out the closing of groups until the contract is signed and receive the first deposit, then prepare the handover to the coordination team.- Manage site inspections, organize visits, room allocations, inspect rooms, and coordinate all departments to execute a perfect site inspection of the hotel.- Perform general administrative tasks within the sales department.- Prepare contracts, monitor signatures, and follow up on deposits.- Enter and reconcile all booking information within our internal system.- Promote a good working environment within the Sales Department, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.- Actively collaborate with colleagues in the department, assisting whenever necessary.- Maintain good relationships with colleagues from both your department and other hotel departments.- Participate in the training process and onboarding for trainees and new hires when needed.Qualifications What we will love about you - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales department in the tourism sector.- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.- Fluent in English and Spanish.- Skills and competencies: Customer-oriented, empathy, planning and organizing, attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork.We Welcome You - Get to know us We are strategically located where the real Barcelona emerges, representing luxury in Barcelona.
