Detalles del empleoTipo de empleo: Jornada completaUbicación: Madrid, Madrid provinciaDescripción completa del empleoWood is looking for a PMC Construction Manager with extensive experience in managing complex construction projects within the oil and gas, energy sector, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Construction Manager will represent Wood on site and be responsible for organizing, managing and administering all site activities in accordance with the company's operating policies and principles and relevant legislation and Client requirements.ResponsibilitiesSafety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.Project Leadership: Lead and manage the construction phase of the project, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.Budget Management: Oversee the project budget, ensuring cost control measures are in place and adhered to.Schedule Management: Develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring timely completion of all construction activities.Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all construction-related matters, maintaining effective communication with clients, EPC Contractor, and other stakeholders.Team Management: Lead and mentor the construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the project, ensuring proactive measures are in place.Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Coordination: Be the primary contact with the Project Director for all Projects matters arisen in field.Supervision: Supervise that EPC Contractor provides that Construction activities be completed in accordance with good construction practice, in accordance with the Project Schedule, that safety prescriptions and rules are fully applied, that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and advise the Client accordingly.Communication: Conduct weekly meetings with EPC Contractor and field staff in order to verify weekly progress, safety and construction aspects, availability of documents, materials, manpower, etc.Documentation: Check that all documents, which need approval by Client to start work, be issued.Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
