Mission and PurposeMaximize alumni engagement, through the services and activities the Alumni Association develops and deploys for its alumni community across the world.
Main ResponsibilitiesProject & Design the Annual Plan of international Alumni Learning Program (ALP) events in their Chapters.Planning and coordination: Identifying faculty availability resulting from international program modules and faculty travel, aligning annual activity plans with Alumni Chapter Boards. This can also include local speakers on occasion, depending on topics and Chapter wants/needs. Coordinating and aligning with internal stakeholders (MBA Admissions, GEMBA, IOP and CMC).Event management: Identifying and liaising with event venues (sponsored through alumni companies or paid venues): event spaces, technical requirements, catering. Coordinating further logistics related to speakers, participant registration, materials management (name-badges and possible communications materials).Lead the Chapter Board Activity: Manage Alumni Chapter Board teams, transmitting Alumni Association main objectives, considering specific Chapter needs, and leveraging the Board's (voluntary) ambassadorship.Project the Chapter Board renovation process (3-6 year President rotation cycles).Alumni Marketing and Communications Management: Oversee the Alumni Division's Marketing and Communications activity, in adherence with IESE Corporate and Marketing Communications (CMC) Department brand and visual identity guidelines.Anticipate communication needs from different areas within the Alumni Division (e.g. ALP events, major events (e.g. GAR), main areas of activity (e.g. Alumni Career Services), working closely and understanding the needs from teams working on these specific areas.Coordinating required creative development and production of related web and printed materials.Co-lead top big events of the division, like the Global Alumni Reunion (GAR), Business Summits, and "special occasion event series" (anniversary events, thematic event-cycles, etc.)GAR: support in event positioning (developing the theme and translation into event structure and content), identifying the right (top-level) speakers, speaker recruitment process, speaker-moderator coordination process, speaker event-specific logistics requirements.Resources management: help lead the team of Chapter Coordinators, ensuring clear understanding of objectives and managing the continuous challenge of anticipating and being ahead of the planning and stakeholder management.Budget management and administration: ensure costs versus budgets are monitored, aiming for continuous effectiveness/efficiency trade-off optimization, and monitor administration ensuring invoices are processed and booked appropriately, coordinating with internal admin and budget control mechanisms.Alumni Special projects: Prioritize and dynamically impulse new ways of doing things, new services or processes that will benefit the whole Community.QualificationsIESE's MBA. Professional experience: 5 years related experience in business development, events, marketing, and communication skills.
