It develops efficient and innovative lighting and wiper systems that support the driver and his passengers in all weathers, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle.Your challenges?Your objective as FMEA Moderator will be:Ensure that developed products (including platform products) meet the Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) Methods and Tools requirements.Facilitate the failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) on new and existing products.Coordinate deployment and development of FMEA know-how within the Product Group.Coordinate continuous improvement of FMEA process in regard to Quality / Cost / Delay.Reporting directly to the Valeo Lighting Systems Product architecture & System Engineering Discipline Manager and within an international team, your missions will be as follows:Support the definition of the FMEA budget for each project and lead the associated working group to ensure the success of the FMEA.Manage the execution of the 7 steps of the FMEA method.Plan and prepare the FMEA.Conduct structure analysis based on the technical description of the analysed System or Product (BOM, Architecture).Perform Functional Analysis.Conduct Failure Analysis.Evaluate Technical Risks based on the AIAG / VDA Handbook and Valeo Standards.Optimize Development plans based on the Risk evaluation.Manage Customer Reports.Schedule FMEA meetings in collaboration with FMEA owners and ensure proper FMEA methodology is used.Support the Product Architect and the FMEA team to review and release the FMEA.Act as an interface person to transfer expertise and knowledge between different development sites.Train the Engineering teams in the methods and specific Tools used for creation of the FMEA.Participate in the Preparation of the decision guidelines / criteria.Collaborate with the Group, responsible for supporting method improvements and implement them into the assigned projects.Create reusable FMEA modules aligned with function and Element standardization.Cooperate in System- and Design-FMEA and offer inputs to Process-FMEA.What about you?You have an engineering degree with a specialization in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering, physics, or equivalent. You have a minimum of 5 years experience in automotive systems, ideally for embedded solutions.You have proven skills in FMEA and are familiar with the development and documentation of failure mode analysis and system architectures.Your taste for technical systems and interpersonal skills will allow you to federate and impulse a real dynamic around your subject.You are a team player and know how to work with method and rigor. Your communication skills will be an asset in order to ensure the link with your internal and external contacts.Experience in the automotive sector is a real plus.
