Z-276 /368 Developer Of High Order Aeroacoustics For Wind Turbines

Off-coustics is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) and will take place at the School of Aeronautics in Madrid (ETSIAE) - Univ. Politécnica de Madrid. Off-coustics combines numerical simulations and experiments to provide insights into the physics governing the aero/hydro-acoustic generation and propagation for offshore wind and tidal farms. Control of these physics will enable the design of silent offshore farms to minimise the impact on marine life. The researcher will implement acoustic analogies and perform wind farm acoustic simulations to minimise noise emissions while ensuring enough energy generation. The successful candidates will join the dynamic research team of Prof. Esteban Ferrer at the school of aeronautics ETSIAE-UPM in Madrid, Spain.
