Western Union powers your pursuit. Reporting to the Head of Digital Banking Europe, we'll look to you to support the leadership in building, expanding, and driving business for our new Digital Banking Business.
Role Responsibilities Travel requests, arrangements, reports, and airport transfers for the CEO and other Managing Directors through the corporate travel platform. Provide administrative and secretarial support for the CEO (calendar management, travel arrangements, PO preparation, approvals as a delegate, etc.).
You will be responsible for maximizing our CEO's time and energy management, including managing complex calendars and scheduling requirements, preparation and sending necessary meeting materials, and the creation of meeting agendas, notes, and memos as requested. Organize All Hands, Town Halls, and Team Huddles in Madrid for the newly created Madrid Digital Hub.
You'll take responsibility for organizing team events, meetings, and off-sites. Partner with other Executive Assistants and key stakeholders to drive efficiency and improved structure for the top executives at the firm. What you need to be successful! Background More than 10 years of relevant work experience in dynamic and fast-paced environments are preferred. You have strong interpersonal skills and you're fluent/native in business-level English and Spanish (German is a plus). Previous experience supporting Senior Managers or Leaders is a must. Skills A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals as well as regulators inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. The ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance while having a strong attention to detail and follow-up. You react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You are someone who moves at a fast pace and is still able to do your best work. You're quick to pick things up and love to learn. You don't accept the status quo and are always looking for ways to improve. You understand that Executive work requires operational excellence and you always strive to achieve this.
