Atradius, a global leader in trade credit insurance, surety, and collections services operating in 52 countries, is seeking a Programming Analyst to join our dynamic team.
As a Programming Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing effective technical solutions within our application ecosystem to support our mission of protecting companies worldwide against default risks associated with selling goods and services on credit.
Department Description Within Atradius ITS, the Credit Insurance Service Delivery (CISD) is in charge of planning and managing all applications and programmes specific to Credit Insurance.
The team manages these applications in a BusDevOps manner. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and operating application solutions for demands specified by Product Owners in the central or decentralized business or functional units outside ITS.
Key responsibilities will be: Analyze business requirements and collaborate with internal and external partners to design feasible and cost-effective technical solutions. Utilize Scrum methodologies and tools for application development lifecycle management, including CI/CD for DevOps practices. Create and maintain documentation including requirement specifications, design documents, and user stories. Design APIs to facilitate seamless integration between various systems and components. Conduct data modeling and utilize SQL for efficient data management, particularly with Oracle databases. Develop robust solutions using Java, PL/SQL, and other relevant technologies in alignment with Atradius architecture standards. Perform impact analysis and reverse engineering as necessary to ensure system consistency and adherence to architectural guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, continually enhancing technical skills to contribute to the team's knowledge base. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing accurate progress reports, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies. Required qualifications: +3 years of relevant experience in IT Analysis, Business Analysis, or IT field. Proficiency in Scrum methodologies, UML, user stories, and requirement & design documentation. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Java, PL/SQL, and database management, especially Oracle. Familiarity with API design principles and best practices. Knowledge of GDPR regulations and experience with BPM tools like Camunda is advantageous. Experience with test automation, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCS), and design thinking/UX design is a plus. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Resilience, ability to see tasks through completion, and a continuous learning mindset. Strong English language skills.
