From caramelized pieces to pralinés and fillings, we are specialized in deliciously fresh nut products for the food industry.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and financial statements in accordance with the local statutory and Group requirements (IFRS).Perform general accounting such as fixed assets accounting, payroll accounting (payroll prepared by external service provider); calculate and post manual journals at month end with appropriate supporting documentation.Perform all local treasury activities including cash management, payment runs, bank statement posting, fx hedge, fx revaluation and corresponding monthly reporting.Support external auditors on conducting interim and yearly audits.Preparation of the annual statutory report (Cuentas Anuales).Prepare, review and submit monthly financial reporting to the Group.Ensure compliance with accounting policies as well as directives.Develop and share accounting expertise as well as knowledge.Build, maintain, and coordinate relationships with external stakeholders as well as the finance community within the Barry Callebaut Group.Ensure local Tax compliance for direct and indirect taxes.Retain and archive records electronically.Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes, technologies, and organization.REQUIRED ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Minimum 4 years' experience in accounting or audit, ideally in an international company.Fluency in Spanish and good level of English, both written and oral.Strong level of accuracy & attention to detail.Ability to deal with monthly deadlines.Good knowledge of MS Excel.At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
